U11 Black Back On The Diamond
After a cold winter the kids were eager to get back on the diamond.
Thanks to Mother Nature holding off, even though it was a little on the cool side, the kids were able to get on the diamond and show the coaching staff what they can do. The kids were eager and could tell they are biting at the bit to get the season going. It will be a tough season as the make-up of the team will consist mostly of first year player's. There will be lots of learning as they will need to learn how to pitch.
Before we got started Coach Steve asked the kids who there favourite ball player was and the majority said George Springer. I don't think we need to worry about what team the kids cheer for, lol!!!
The kids are back on the diamond next week weather permitting. Till next time.
